Terms of Service

These terms apply between BuyAhead ("we") and the merchant who installs the app ("you"). By installing the app you agree to them.
What the app does
BuyAhead reads your sales history and stock levels and calculates, for each product: how many days of stock remain, when to place a reorder, and how much to order. It also flags dead and excess stock.
Every number the app shows comes with the calculation behind it. The forecast is a statistical estimate based on your past sales; it is decision support, not a guarantee. You remain responsible for your purchasing decisions.
Access to your store
The app requests read-only permissions only. It cannot create, change, or delete anything in your store. You can revoke access at any time by uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin.
Data protection
We process store data solely to provide the app's functionality. We do not request or store customer-identifying data, we do not sell data, and we do not share it for advertising. Access tokens are encrypted at rest. Full details, including retention and deletion, are in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Pricing — our commitment
We commit to the following, in writing:
- A fixed monthly price. No per-order fees and no percentage of your revenue.
- Your price does not rise because your sales rise.
- Cancel in one click. Cancellation takes effect immediately and billing stops.
- No charge after uninstall.
- Any price change is announced in advance and never applied retroactively.
Billing is handled by Shopify through your existing Shopify account.
Availability
We aim to refresh your numbers once every day. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. If data collection fails on a given day, the app recovers it automatically on the next run wherever Shopify still makes that data available, and gaps that cannot be recovered are excluded from the calculation rather than treated as zero sales.
Liability
The app is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
